Free Learning Resource

You can access for FREE, a Key Stage Two Learning Resource that helps learners explore how women in Greater Manchester campaigned for the vote in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In it you will find information about the campaign for women’s votes as well as suggestions for activities and links to resources.

Activities are suitable for Key Stage 2 learners and are supported by resources and background information. Subjects that can be explored include history, literacy, drama and art. Resources for further exploration are also signposted. Each activity includes guidance on how to undertake it but can be adapted to suit needs.

This resource has been designed to support cross-curricular learning. It specifically supports history and citizenship. This learning resource and the activities within were produced in partnership with Tandem Theatre and Minerva Heritage funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
